Video Production & Event Organization
Active member of the Bio11erRat Leipzig e.V. since 2016. Responsible for producing the annual short films and performing on stage during the traditional “Biofasching” events.
Since November 2016, I have been an active, dedicated member of the Bio11erRat Leipzig e.V., the official student carnival association of the Faculty of Biosciences, Pharmacy, and Psychology at Leipzig University. The association is widely known for organizing the annual “Biofasching”, a major student event featuring elaborate stage programs, dances, and creative storytelling.
Within the association, I took on a leading creative and technical role:
- Film Production: I was primarily responsible for the conceptualization, shooting, and editing of the self-produced short films that are a central highlight of the stage show every year.
- Stage Performance: Beyond my work behind the camera, I also actively participated as an actor, standing on stage in various comedic and theatrical scenes.
- Event Organization: Supporting the planning, logistics, and execution of large-scale student events and parties.
This long-standing volunteering experience perfectly balances my technical and analytical daily work with highly creative, team-oriented, and entertaining community projects.
Oliver Scheer is an experienced IT professional and former scientific researcher with a broad background spanning app development, IT coordination, and molecular biology research.
Currently working in IT coordination and requirements engineering, with a strong focus on Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence, as well as external provider management.
